The ability to incorporate multiple genre's while still retaining your own sound is an admirable quality, and one such trait resistor prides himself on achieving.
With the multitude of musical genre's that make up his wide range of influences, its understandable why this is necessary to make up the resistor sound.
From early hip hop, glitch and electro to rock & metal and film score, all of which in some way play a part in creating this sound.
This by no means happened overnight. Resistor [Phill Corpe] set up his first studio in 98 after spending 8 years jamming with friends (and learning how to write/play musc)
The electronic bug bit in the mid 90's thanks to the UK Big Beat sound sound and also the remixes of metal bands that started to become more prevalent.
From that point on, Phill has been working hard to develop the sound you here today.

Also a talented DJ, Phill's production ethos draws many parallels when performing live.
Over the years, Phill’s has played numerous club and outdoor events and has had the pleasure of supporting such local and international acts such as Hyper, Nubreed,
Micah Black, JHz, Chris Carter, Tayo, Groovediggerz, Smithmonger, Rogue Element and Hedflux.

In 2010 resistor was picked up by Divergence records, releasing two E.P's - Shape shift & Choose your Weapon. In 2011,
came a heavy hitting release on U.S label, Rediculoud Records.
In March 2012, resistor made his first full length album debut on 96KHz Productions. With almost 2 weeks at number one on the Beatport top 100 breaks charts,
and reaching 39 overall, the album was favorably received by the DJ and electronic music community.
With fresh new tunes in production and a string of remixes and collaborations already on the go, the next year is already looking huge.
